Some good "Actual Screamo" bands include: Pageninetynine, Vs. Self, Jerome's Dream, Man Meat, etc.

I’ve never really known what to call Hawthorne Heights. I’ve taken up calling you guys "Daytoncore” because your music feels very in tune with the feeling of “home” in a big way. It feels homely and down to earth, like the feel of an emo who was homeschooled and kept inside and thus unable to interact with other emos besides the occasional trip to Hot Topic, and so they manifest their own version of emo culture based on what they know: home. Which is. Exactly what sort of emo I am.
