As a British citizen, it really frustrates me that the US president - a figure who will have an impact not just domestically but on international nations like my own - will essentially be elected by a few tens of thousands of people in a handful of swing states.

What’s so frustrating is it feels like Harris and Walz are campaigning their asses off, going all over the place, constantly on the move, working hard and doing pretty much everything right. Meanwhile, Trump is running his laziest campaign yet, full of scandals and gaffes, doing almost everything wrong along the way.

And what does Harris get to show for it? A POSSIBLE razor-thin lead. It’s terrifying.

I don’t care what the polls say, it is still your job, duty, and responsibility as an American citizen to get out and vote. If you want your preferred candidate of choice to win in little over two months, I suggest you vote if you are eligible. In fact, make a plan TO vote from checking your voter registration to voting ours to helping your friends and family members get all of their needs taken care of as far as voting.

Considering polling data from before the Harris/Trump debate skews the overall aggregate, as it doesn't reflect the impact of current events. If you exclude the pre-debate numbers and focus solely on post-debate data, Harris is leading in nearly every swing state. This is what's so frustrating about polling: outdated data is aggregated, making it less relevant. It's important to remember that polling isn't a prediction of the election outcome; it's simply a tool to gauge changes in voter motivation. Polls can never predict how many people will actually cast votes.

I disagree about Arizona. Gallego is way up over Lake. She's 100% MAGA. This is a statewide election. I find it hard to believe that folks in Arizona will cast the8r ballot for Gallego and ignore Harris. No. They'll vote for him and her. Harris wins Arizona.

I live in a heavily Democratic, mid-sized New England city and I saw a lady with a Trump 2024 sweatshirt at the supermarket today. Even safe blue states have millions of MAGAs. That's why we can't get complacent. Vote! 🌊

In deep red Oklahoma trumps lead has gone from a 33 point win in 2020 to him currently at a 16 point lead. He’s still in the lead but don’t discount that massive drop. You should look at all 50 states and see how it’s going not just the swings

HOT TAKE: whichever party wins the Senate race in Arizona is the party that carries Arizona in the presidential election. Split party voting in America is becoming more and more scarce. The only state in 2020 to go for one party in the Senate race but the other party in the presidential race was Maine. GOP Senator Susan Collins won reelection in Maine while Joe Biden won carried the state on his way to winning the election that same cycle.
