Stem cells being used to cure back pain

Most cases of back pain are caused by problems with disks - the cushions between bones of the spine. Most treatments are not very successful, but what if you could rejuvenate a disk with your own stem cells?

Why isn't this procedure being covered by insurance??? Are insurance companies ignoring the debilitating outcomes of spinal fusion? Even if this is not a long term answer, it still seems to produce more effective and safer results than short term procedures such as spinal epidurals. DO WE HAVE TO BE WEALTHY OR ELITE  TO LIVE A PAIN FREE PRODUCTIVE LIFE???  How can we  help make a change?!

This is some pretty exciting stuff. I've been suffering with back pain from a herniated disc for 8 years and didn't really want to do surgery because it would just further more weaken the disc. If this procedure really works the way I've seen it to work from all these videos about stem cells than I don't care if I have to pay out of pocket, I just want this pain to GO AWAY! Oh and I read that the procedure is very affordable compared to an actual minimally invasive surgery.
