A woman stole fifty thousand dollars from multiple families and was given only probation and literally did the same thing shortly after because she was not truly punished

You’re not embarrassed to steal but you’re embarrassed to take the walk of shame for stealing🤷🏾‍♀️

I worked retail, and one of my coworkers got arrested for stealing. I had noticed he did some shady stuff, like he tried to collect a safety award for making a safety hazard himself. Apparently he took a screwdriver and stabbed a hole into a container of citronella fuel and then acted like the fuel spilled all on its own and that he prevented a fire hazard by cleaning it up. When that didn't work because the management didn't think he deserved a $20 safety award he began to empty out huge boxes of cookware in the stockroom and filled them up with $200 electric razor boxes and then put them back on the salesfloor behind other normal boxes. His friend then came in and bought the inexpensive cookware sets, and suddenly management noticed we were missing like 10 Braun electric razors. The next time this guy showed up at work, the police were waiting and took him away in cuffs.

"I can't go to jail!" Then you shouldn't have broken the law *shrug I don't know how these people can do this then whine and cry when they get caught.

"I may have stolen from you but I have a family! How can you be so cruel???"

It absolutely baffles me that after they steal and are caught, they have the gall to ask to exit from a side door to avoid embarrassment.

I really feel bad for the Plato's Closet owner. Taking out a loan to survive, probably struggling to understand why his business isnt doing well, never suspecting he was being ripped off heavily. Now he's got to go through a process just to get his own money back, plus being on the hook for a loan. That thief needs some serious jail time.

She said I can't go to jail because I'm single mom. She should thought about that before stealing $3, 100 at her job. She's not very smart.

These people should get considerable jail time! None of them should be given probation!!!

I have empathy for anyone who is struggling. Stealing does not help that situation at all, and as we have seen, you can get a felony charge and you wont get another job ever. Burglary or theft is 100% you are not getting another legal job again.

Another funny thing about these thieves. They asked is theres anything they can do to not go to JAIL.

If you take 3000 dollars for get charged with grand theft but the lady that cashed 50, 000 in checks only gets probation...omg, that's insane!

"Employees are the last people you suspect of stealing." Someone's never worked retail before. Your big chains tend to watch the employees harder than they do the customers.

True. Times are tough, but that's what second and third jobs are for!

Once the thief saw the owner of Plato’s Closet showing empathy she started in with her medical issues - the cyst in her mouth. You can’t be soft with these people. They always take advantage.

"Don't do the crime if you can't do the time." - That wonderful old saying still holds solid to this day.

"I can't go to jail"...well, you should have thought about that BEFORE you stole from your employer.
