The bitter sweet comment about coming in 2nd reminds me of something I read before that said how people that come in 2nd are always sad because they wish they would've gotten 1st, but people in 3rd are just happy to have made it to the podium.

Did the same thing. Raced once or twice with a G29, a month later I had a profile rig, a simagic alpha, that same Odyssey G9 monitor, etc..

I think iRacing tells you, before every race, where you would get a penalty by going off tracks.
That corner doesn't look like you would gain time going that wide since you have to go back to the right for the following corner.

Yes I've been using a controller for ever. I'm a single dad with 2 boys and work at Great Dane and can not afford a great wheel like that thrust master. I would be soooo great full. Great video and beautiful sim set-up.

A good place to start in D class would be the F4 or GT4 series depending if you want to drive open wheelers or not

Slow down penalties only apply if you go off track and go around the corner faster than you should be able to. Not just for all off tracks.

Yo I just finished putting together my 6 sigma with g9 monitor and bass shakers. Crazy setup. Can you make a video going over the location of pedals, wheel, monitor, as well as your fov. That would be really appreciated and I think a lot of people would be interested in seeing the g9 in action

The F3 series is pretty exciting to watch. As well as the Ferrari fixed which are a really good way for iracing beginners to get better
