My shiny mewtwo was actually a first try back when I got it. I was in discord with friends talking about trying to get mewtwo in a premier ball and then it was green. Few seconds of staring dumbly and I just threw master ball in a panic

This is legit what I'm saving my master ball for, as I'm gonna start hunting for shiny Mewtwo once I have the shiny charm. And that shouldn't be that far off, as I should be able to get the charm this week

Nice dude! Took me around 1100~ for my first shiny MewTwo (and I failed it lol). Then my second came at 1357. It feels sooo good to succeed! Haha

So, I’m not sure how I have “deactivated” the cutscene but I’m nervous to start hunting for fear that something is wrong. I fought him a couple times to make sure I could defeat him but never saved after. I transferred a mewtwo over to complete my dex and get the shiny charm. Now when I encounter mewtwo, there is no cutscene to even skip. Is this normal???

I managed to get mine in a premier ball I had like 30 or something and walked away with mid to high 20 left I believe. This guy is beastly and it's in my favorite color to boot.
