This happened to me. Found mine in a staggeringly low 36 encounters, got really upset when I screwed up because my Alolan Persian, despite being overleveled, couldn't tank more than two Swifts. Thankfully, I got stupid lucky, got it again 45 encounters later, and finally took it down.
