Older style high-performance engines with high-pressure friction points—like those often used in classic hot rods, muscle cars, and restored vehicles—rely on motor oil with a ZDDP additive to improve engine performance, combat wear, and preserve the life of the engine. Summit Racing now offers a premium conventional ZDDP performance motor oil designed especially for budget-conscious owners such vehicles.

In the latest video from Summit Racing, we discuss the many benefits of our Summit Racing® ZDDP performance motor oils. The new line of specially formulated engine lubricants blends anti-scuff and anti-wear additives with advanced base oils in a package that is ideal for engines using a flat tappet camshaft, but also functions with roller camshafts. The line includes a single-grade SAE 30 break-in oil along with 5W30, 10W30, 10W40, and 20W50 multi-grade blends.

Formulated both for racing and street driving applications, the oil works with engines equipped with power adders and is compatible with all fuel types. In addition, rust and corrosion inhibitors make it ideal for show cars and other vehicles stored for long stretches of time. Just make sure you don’t use this oil in vehicles equipped with a catalytic converter.
