I lightened up my position at $145 and then the stock went off to the races! Well I'm in a good position because I won't add again unless it is low enough. Done really well selling options on lemonade

I agree, even the companies I have the most conviction in the share price often doesn't reflect reality and it is smart hedging to lock in some profits. I will always take some shares away after a big run up and would rather a stock goes down to rebuy than hope it goes up.

And if the remaining stock keeps running that is great, there are other new opportunities everyday.

Still bothers me that as a potential 10x candidate, founders cashing out at 2x. Granted its just 10-20% of their position, it is still worrying. Also, given the backdrop of LMND's decision to aggressively grow by using reinsurance to scale (i.e. using other peoples money) leaves a bad taste when you see the founders cashing out their own equity positions. Wishing more founders had full faith in their companies, instead of hedging their own gains.
