Mike I tried your method and it was a bit of a flop. The first part worked but the outside pad was not right. If you screw out the adjustment on the cable 1-2 mm, pull the cable tight at the at the end of the lever and tighten the cable again, then screw in the adjuster back in again, it works.
Otherwise the best vid I have seen for this process. Cheers
