I honestly hope you guys are re-evaluating your situation. You are all young, strong, mobile, and able. Is the gamble worth it? If you go you may lose your home. If you stay you may lose your home and your lives. Take the pups and head north. Consider it a road trip. Please opt for the temporary inconvenience over the bigger tragedy. I'm truly worried, too. I hope you all decide to evac with your precious pups. I fret about them at a kennel with operators who have multiple animals to worry about when the storm hits, they won't be a priority. Please stay safe. These storms are unprecedented and what's happened in the past doesn't help us prepare for what is happening now. Playing "too safe" is always the best rule.
