Hi Guys, Here are some points I would like to add-
1. I never said you shouldn't dream for these companies. I just meant that if you aren't working for these companies, it doesn't mean that you aren't good at your work!
2. A lot of you mentioned about salary and compensation, I agree that these companies are great in this respect but many other companies are now giving equivalent offers! (Should have mentioned this in the video)
3. I have tried to keep this video very factual and neutral. When I have given my opinion, I have explicitly mentioned it. I mean no offense to anyone. I love these companies for sure!

But the fact is for an individual software developer, the fastest and surest way to financial freedom, sooner in life, is to get into one of the FAANG Companies.
Because when you get shafted for pay, it will still be a high pay. All other companies will shaft you for much worse. Just so we are clear, I believe every company shafts you for pay.

Good point about it being a term coined by someone who's closer to Wall Street than Silicon Valley. But in India, these are the companies that pay you well and give you stocks as part of your TC. It's very attractive overall when you consider the kind of people you'll work with here, the kind of projects you'll work on, the kind of perks you get (well, may be not at Amazon), and the potential stock growth which happens in a bull market as we are in one right now.
