I'm not a fan of vertical videos. I only bought the GoPro 11 last year, and I'm extremely happy with it. I recorded my mums funeral at 5.3K on it. The stabilisation is fantastic. I really don't see anything new.

Personally, I am quite disappointed with the GoPro hero 12, as the camera has no significant improvements over the GoPro hero 11. The internal HDR mode is absolutely unusable for me, as it's not really HDR! On my channel you can watch real GoPro HDR videos! GoPro log is nice, but with GoPro Labs I can also set a very flat image profile! Only if you do not own a GoPro, then you can consider buying the GoPro 12. I actually expected a larger sensor or higher resolution!
