Well:

1. Filipino is just Tagalog, one out of 102+ plus languages we have in the islands which are all Austronesian languages of the Malayo-Polynesian branch.

2. The Philippines was colonized for 500+ years (Spain, England, USA, Japan) hence the name. Why we have many Spanish loan words. Just like Turkey has Arab loan words. The. again Turkiet wasn’t originally Turkic, but convertet to Islam, and adopted Arabic/Arabic loan words due to the Ottoman Empire…

All the words he listed aren't even real Turkish words except friend. These were loanwords that originally came from another language.

hey... there are many common words between Turkish and Hindi as well
peynir-- panir(cheese)
düsman -- dushman (enemy)
meyve-- meve ( fruits/dry fruits)
nefret -- nafrat (hate)
sehir -- sheher(city)
ananas -- ananas(pineapple)
insan -- insan (person)
helva -- halva ( a sweet dish)
etc. etc.

Many of these words are mainly Latin origin alternative words used in Türkçe but not necessarily Türk origin words.

Its common words in many countries actually. Like telephone or tourists - they are everywhere.

There are lot more similarities like: savun - sabon, shampoan - shampo, masa - mesa, televizyon - telebisyon, pejama - pajama, ambulans - ambulansiya, doktor - doktor, bye bye - ba bye. This is a bad comparison. This words are international. Everybody uses them.
