The Warriors were WRONG About Klay

The Gil's Arena podcast crew reacts to the Dennis Schröder Golden State Warriors trade. After removing Klay Thompson from the Bay, the Warriors went back out to get a complimentary guard to Steph Curry. Buddy Hield isn't filling in for Klay Thompson as they thought he would. Now Dennis Schroder will move from the Brooklyn Nets to try and shoot and fill that role. It shows Klay Thompson that they were wrong to let him go. He is performing with the Mavericks and now they are losing without him. Brandin Podziemski has not had enough of an impact on their team. No they weren't considering klay is not a backup point guard nor does he play like it and the times when they would try to get him to do it he didn't have the IQ for it because if you guys remember there was a stunt where some of his best passes where to trace. In all respect to him this has nothing to do with him this has something to do with the fact that we couldn't get anyone for Chris Paul which was the backup point guard

You can tell Gil don’t really pay attention or is just dumb. The warriors signed Schroeder to replace DeAnthony Melton who is done for the season with a torn ACL. He wasn’t brought in to replace Klay. Buddy Hield was.

What Gil is trying to say is that GS is still trying to replace all the production and knowledge Klay took with him...he runs the play with Draymond and SC and then also defends at a high level...GS is now scrambling to replace all what Klay gave to them

Buddy Hield is having a horrible year, not just bad nights. I drafted him in fantasy expecting him to be a 40-45 Fantasy Points per game player, but he’s been more of a 15-20 fantasy point player. Getting very close to just dropping him at this point.

Klay wasn't the problam problam is future was beginning head back because steph and klay where still balling. Poole and jk and moody diiidnt get to developed the last 4 yrs .that Kerr fault, but klay got the blame .Kerr never developed anybody during his time with warriors he ran the big 3,
