I am 39, i had my first ever seizure last week. It was a very scary time for my family as my wife and kids were present at the time. Doctors said i had low levels of oxygen in my brain and extremely low iron in my blood. Last summer i almost passed out in the gym as I was working out following a sharp pain in the back of my head, which i have since learnt was also due to a lack of oxygen in the brain. I've started consuming green juices, omega 3, vitamins b, c, d and k as well as honey and organic black seeds (7 per day). Im also trying to stay as keto as possible.

I first started having seizures at the age of 42 and 49 now and I have mostly in my sleep I had my last set of seizures early yesterday morning my brother found me in the couch where I was sleeping in it, I barely was aware because I felt where pissed up the pillow I had under me I don't know why my brother didn't call an ambulance I asked him and he was tired of calling them which I think was very foolish I am still now recovering from it

My husband (62) had his first epileptic seizure in october. 4 days in the hospital, several scans and no reason found. Last week his second (and maybe third) seizure. Two days in hospital, more exams and scans: no causo whatsoever. 😢

I had my first seizure at about the age of 16 years old in high school— a tonic clonic seizure. The diagnosis could not be confirmed. From then on I went on to have more tonic conic seizures and I went into depression. I have had an atonic seizure also. But I was told that my general condition was complex partial. I take a polypharmacy ( for other comorbidities as well) and have a VNS. I have seen multiple epileptoligists, neurologists and psychiatrists throughout my life and have gone through a wide spectrum of meds. How I still exist is beyond me as I near 60 years old.

It’s not genetic at all. I do not agree with this. It depends on the persons diet during pregnancy as well. Unfortunately, My Son when he had the MMR injection, he developed epilepsy he was fine before i’m very careful of his diet. Everything is organic only natural sugars nothing processed lots of fruit, nuts and vegetables, no dairy, you’re right about it can be through trauma. My Son had all the genetic tests and not one came back that it was genetic. I have no family history of my family from both my parents side. No Epilepsy these toxic injections they want to give to us literally from birth, causes a lot of problems.

What about being a 20/21 year old female, no previous history of seizures nor any family history of seizures? Several seizures spanning over the next 5 years then suddenly stops?

I started at 20. The women in my family get it. My aunt, me and my daughter.

I have cortical dysplasia parietal lobe. I didn't know my symptoms were seizures until they got larger in adulthood.
