I got diagnosed in 2019 and the only thing that shocked me was that I had no idea you could get it later on in life. It’s scary as fuck not knowing when your next seizure is but once your medication is found for you and you learn to keep going despite it then it can help much 💞

-, I love this information in this video. I've been an epileptic since 2015, I've been told by my doctor it's life long. But yes great information on knowing how your body is 0:35 - 1:04 on how to help control your epilepsy. Also watching the full video of this one and noticed that "Aura" word. I got into looking that up finding all the information about it, yes I've had that happen to me before plenty of times. I didn't know what it was but I was always feeling like someone is inside my head or seeing weird things or your whole body feels weird or numb. But since knowing that word I've controlled it or if it's a minor seizure idk but I'll just stop what I'm doing ASAP stand still or lean over and come back within a few minutes or less and knowing what's happening, preventing it great information 🙏🏾💯‼️‼️‼️

I have Epilepsy because I was born with a hole in my Temporal Lobe (the area of the brain that helps control your speech and memory) It's also the reason why I have trouble remembering what I'm about to say during conversations.

I've had epilepsy since I was six years old, and now I'm in my 30's there been rough patches while my own fits have caused them be uncontrolled and controlled mine over all are violent ones I have worst they drain you make feel tired too. I'm only one in my family who has epilepsy I've nearly lost my own life to epilepsy a number of times I'm lucky I'm still breathing and living. Now they very much under control I can drink my Nurologist and doctor knows I drink I don't smoke or drugs ( besides my morning/night tablets )
