2:22 Black Bird's lips... In the original he just says "H-how..."
But the number of sylables and lip movements for that in Chinese is more than an English "H-how..." So, they were kinda screwed there and had to extend it to "But how... could it be?"
Mmmm... Maybe make the initial lip movement a light breathe? Then you only have the remaining quick lip movements.
Tsk, wait... Maybe not. Getting cut in the face after something unexpected happens, then a light breathe... Then something said with quick lip movements, meaning we'd have to say a 2-3 words FAST (which would not work given the slow build-up of the surprised look + breathe), or we go for 1 word with a bunch of sylables? Maybe 2 words...? No, it'd be too quick and that doesn't work.

No, no that's too complicated of a word. It just sounds dumb coming from Black Bird, who speaks in simple, short language.

Yeah, really makes you appreciate the dubbing process and forgive some of the mistakes.

HOWEVER...
You could go the Team Four Star route, work your BALLS OFF, and CAREFULLY (note: CAREFULLY) re-animate that scene and carefully re-time is to reduce the lip animation to have him say, "H-... How...?" in english. Keep the original show length and timing however, do NOT mess up the music pacing.
It'd just mean we'd have a slightly longer pause before and after he said how.

Put more of the pause AFTER he says how though.
When he says it, it needs to happen at the moment (or at least close to the moment) it happens originally.

Ok, so that'd be my final decision, the last thing I just said here.
Edit the lips to have it be "how." Drag it out slightly to buy us some time.

Remember, the moment the camera goes to a close-up of Blackbird's face and we see his eyes and mask splitting, to when we cut to 13's broken blades, THAT TIMING must be maintained.

Awesome fight too bad season 4 fucked it all up. seriously 13 is awesome until the plot needs someone to come save her. Like what??? she was in two episodes for s4 and the only reason she was important was so that 7 or her master had to go saver her. smh. also what happened to her eye, just magically grew back?? it seemed like this fight had weight to it but nooo. season 4 is a disappointment
