I am a solo cleric and I found there is a certain way you can move that can trigger his yell, making it a free shot in the head. I take a war maul and it ends up being a fairly easy fight.

Guide didn’t help me at all tried 50 times and still he always yells and smacks me across the room doesn’t matter if I’m close. 80% of the time he starts the fight with that move as well. Doesn’t matter if I run away, try and double jump crouch he will hit me. The last time I tried it 5 mins ago he roared five times then charged and stopped and then swung. Guide doesn’t help because he doesn’t do what he’s “predicted” to do. I’ve played every dark souls game and can memorize move sets like no other, This. Is bullshit. His moves are somewhat telegraphed and he will 100% of the time hit me with a random high swing not the normal and slam or overhead swing. Chest lvl swing from side to side.

This boss sometimes it randomly hit you form extremely far range =_= and 1 hit still nto familiar with the boss mechanic

without a doubt the easiest and most solid method, if double jump is removed is this played the same?

you are missing alot of damage by not getting a 2nd headshot after the downward attack, just doube jump and attack will let you hit his head a 2nd time and the second jump for some reason gives you movement control mid air so you can start backing off while in air so its 100% safe

did they nerf poison, it used to tick for 5 off 5 hits now it ticks at 2 from 5 hits according to the dummies in the lobby. nothing in patch notes
