You cannot tell me this sound doesn’t give you eargasm. Will never get how some of the fans think this is noise and such. Granted the current V6 hybrid turbos cars maybe faster and technologically more advanced but the sight and sound of a naturally aspirated V10 F1 cars just gives you goosebumps

More sound, more teams, more engines, everything's much better back then. Ferrari, Honda, Renault, BMW, Mercedes, Cosworth & Toyota.

I watched them at Imola. During warm up I thought at some point it was thundering, then i realized it was the sound of downshifting of the cars coming from my back. I was at rivazza curve. After braking they started erogating all the power. I couldnt believe they could produce such an astounding sound, even if I was expecting a sort of. I will Never forget that day.

Today on track, you heard the sound of F1 car‘s. Back in the V10 era, you could feel the sound.
And thats not just something i say.
When the whole field flys by at you in Lap you, everything was shaking…

Its a shame that people seem to think F1 needs to evolve with the motor industry, like why should it. If F1 can evolve the logistics to lower the carbon footprint of transport between races then why shouldn't we be able to reintroduce v10's or v8's. The way people inside the sport keep going on about F1 leading the way for the automotive industry makes me think we might see F1 become an electric formula

Every time I hear the sound of that v10 a tear comes to my eye

The biggest loss in F1 is when they went to the hybrid era.

Sound of my childhood. Used to watch F1 back in the 2000's.

Thanks for the memories. I was lucky enough to have tested and demo'd the 2008 renault F1 r28 for the team during 2009 and had 2 glorious sunny days at the old Silverstone before they ruined the place.
