The Power button is "far away" on purpose, so as to eliminate the risk of hitting it by mistake while you are manipulating the drawbars (et cetera) during a concert with very little light on stage and a multitude of people listening attentively.

Thanks Chris, this is a helpful video. Apparently the drawbars, rotary speed and brake buttons do transmit Midi CC messages, but only if an organ preset is selected first.

Thanks. Great video, coming from a similar user perspective to mine. Good to hear it can output audio from USB sources. The keyboard looks like a win to me since I’m retiring the Kronos to the studio.

Hi Chris, can you compare the YC88 with the CK88? What are the differences in features and sounds?

Im not clear on how it compares to an electric pianio at a similar price point without all the controls. Wich is the better electric piano ? As far as the action and realizm of the sound.

I just am confused why 5hey use the cheap action of the p125 in such a pricy instrument

I have heard these break often

And only 2 sensors???

Is there adsr control on the sounds. If using in a daw is there an app for controlling parameters on a mac. Is this keyboard dual or triple sensor in regards to playing the keys

great video...but a built in battery will commit the user to always lugging it within and it weighs quite substantial...whereas in this case... one can always choose not to use batteries at i am a cyclist and i can tell you...every gram counts when u have to carry it around frequently....

That X-stand trembles too much. Perhaps the CK88 is too heavy (or too massive) for it.

Great organ, electric pianos, nice strings, ac piano not so good, brass not so good … basic synth sounds ok .overall really practical useful piece of kit

Thanks, Chris. That's a great review of this amazing instrument. Just a doubt, how's the action and does the keys feel plasticky while playing ?

usbc is great but should not be at the expense of din midi. keyboards without din midi don't take account for the fact loads of people are using vintage synths and keyboards. this keyboard is on my shortlist, without din midi it would not be

I think there are plenty of things they could fix on this. The splits and layering are not very useful. I’ve had to program all that kind of stuff in my sound modules instead which is annoying. I essentially just use this for piano now. Kinda bummed about this purchase in hindsight. It’s not great if you’re the keyboardist/music director for a group but I couldn’t swing a Nord and that bright red is not my vibe at all. 😂

Thanks for the informative review; just wish you'd resist placing elevator music in the background when you talk - truly unnecessary
