I'm often asked for tips on how to extend the wear time of lining the water line or tight lining ... here are a few of my favorite tricks! Remember even when using a waterproof liner in the waterline you should touch it up as needed throughout the day - inner rim lining is a bit high maintenance ... no way around that one! "Sigh" It's so tough being a chic sometimes ; p

The tip about how not to tear up is just perfect. I tend to be overly empathic at times and get teary eyed way more than I'd like to. So I've tested this "method" out for the past days. It's honestly already changed my life! Thank you for that (:

I decided to watch this because I love your channel, and absolutely love lining my waterline, but for the past 2 years I've only found one liner that works for me, and it only comes in black. I wanted to see what I could do to improve my skills. I hope your tips & tricks help.

BTW the eyeliner I use is NYX Collection Noir Powder Black Liner, and it stays perfectly where I want it and doesn't collect in my eyeducts and I don't have to retouch it. Trick for that one is when you apply it don't apply it to the inner 1/4th of your eye because it just migrates there naturally within 30 mins of wear and then No more excess gunk gathers there throughout the day.

That last tip is going to change my life forever! I'm that person who gets tears streaming down my face if I even just yawn, so my eye make-up always smudges. Definitely trying the breathing through the nose technique!

Hi Tati - Love your videos and the addition of TIp Tuesdays has been great!  I have a waterline/tightline dilemma.  Do you you have any tips for tightlining in black and doing the lower waterline in nude without the colors smudging together into a gross greige color.  I pretty much need to tightline if I'm wearing any eyeliner because my fleshy upper waterline looks odd otherwise.  I also love the look of a nude liner in the lower waterline.   I typically use Nars Rue Bonaparte or Rimmel ScandalEyes in Nude .  I find that because the black and the nude smudge together I can only do one or the other.  But if I'm going for a vintage black wing and red lip look I like to tightline with black and use nude on the lower water line.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I love q-tips for "removing gunk, " but for some reason I have a very bad habit of just rubbing my under eye area if there's a smudge or something that's traveling. I really need to to use my q-tips! Great tips, Tati. Thank you!
