Greatest movie of all time in my opinion. The special effects still hold up to this day. The story has and always will enrich the faith for generations.

I watch this every Easter "with" my dad. He lives 3 states away from me but we each have our own copy and we always plan what time to start it so it's like we're watching together. He saw this in the theater as a boy.

That magnificent soundtrack is a character within itself!  I can hear it without seeing the film....and know immediately that it's 'The Ten Commandments.' What an astounding musical score!

No one can ever make an epic movie like this again. Great and memorable film. Thanks Cecil de mille for the saga for the next generation to watch and admire. All the casts deserve their role.

Great to see these pics. CB. D Mille died shortly after the film was made. He left behind one of the greatest epic films that was ever made. I hope i meet him in the next life to shake his hand and tell him that!

In his autobiography, Heston stated that DeMille was given extraordinary assistance from Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser, for example, members of the army actually made up the ranks of the Pharoah's army in the film. This was because as a youth Nasser had watched a DeMille movie about the Crusades and never forgot how respectfully Saladin was portrayed.

Hey, spotted my uncle at 0:50 seated and looking directly into Brynner's lens. He was Dean Martin's double for many years. Did a lot of work at Paramount. Small world spotting him on youtube, he's been gone 45 years.
