that broke my heart that his mother lost everyone, and then her husband leaves her. God bless her memory, what an amazing survivor.

One of the funnest concerts I've been to was KISS. My brother handed me down his 8 tracks and I became a fan. Gene's mother was quite the character and she would come on his reality show and always with sane advice. Sorry to hear that she passed away.

Gene is very down to Earth despite his on-stage persona. What a crazy life! From his Mom's story to Kiss becoming one of the biggest rock bands and everything in between. You never know where life is going to take you, and as he said, :'Enjoy everything you have and be grateful.' Wise words.

Gene is a
Great parent. No free allowance creates a good work ethic and an understanding of delayed gratification!!

My personal experience with gene Simmons was back stage at the 2018 canafest outdoor concert (grand forks b.c. can), where i stood about 6 feet away from him after his set. We were all told not to approach or engage with gene unless he engages first. I watched and listen to gene being sarcastic, rude, and belittling to people just for being in his space. I enjoy going to a kiss concert as i have 4 times over the years but, clearly gene or paul are not the nice guys they pretend tobe

The way Gene Simmons discribed his mother explains alot why if Martin Luther King was alive today and saw what has become of the modern black culture, he would be sick to his stomach.

I listen to an interview with Gene Simmons on the interview program fresh air on national public radio back in 2002 (before they became so woke). I couldn’t believe what he was saying and I kept trying to believe that he was being sarcastic or just trying to get the goat of the interviewer but it finally became apparent that he was serious. If so, he is one of the biggest scumbags in the history of the planet! Amazing life? I don’t think so. I never was a huge fan of KISS and after hearing him pop off disrespectfully so many topics, not the least of which is all the women that he has “had”, I don’t see the amazing part.

I’ve just listened to the first part of this and he’s come across as an elder statesman. Still, even if he was just being sarcastic or trying to get this interviewers goat, it was really crass, disgusting and disrespectful. Maybe he and this woman interviewer had some previous kerfuffle, I don’t know. I hope he’s become a more insightful and kind person and I apologize if I am mistaken about my previous comments.

Forget Rammstein's, Till Lindemann. 'Row Zero' of a Kiss gig is legendary.

Gene absolutely lost his voice in Osaka Japan in 1997 and there was no plowing through it. Paul and.the other guys sang his parts and songs.

Gene's Son is the most moral person?

Didn't he get busted ripping off another comic book artist and claiming it as his own?

Piers should also interview Misa from Band-Maid. ❤🥷
She is Gene Simonds’ successor as the world’s leading bass player.
