This is part 3 of the 5 part animation series of the 1971 India Pakistan War - Battle of Shakargarh. Please subscribe to the channel for the rest of the videos.

This video describes theprogress of operations into Shakargarh, including the successes of 54 Div and 39 Div. 36 Div is also inducted into the battle to force the enemy's hand. 54 Division reaches the East bank of the Basantar river - where it is faced with a 1400 m wide mine field.
