Since many people seem to have come here because of the same problem: Microsoft recently split up the dev channel from the beta channel for Windows 11. If your Dev version is newer that the latest Beta build (which it is if you always install the dev updates), you will not be able to switch channels. The only two ways is to either pause dev updates until beta catches up with your actual dev version (which does also NOT guarantee you to be able to switch channels) or to do a clean reinstall of windows.

Nope. The option to switch to Beta is grayed out - same with Preview channel. I cannot select the radio button, it's grayed out - and many people are having this problem.

will we get windows 11 public version if we are using windows 11 dev channel one i was using windows 10 orginal version and shfted to windows 11 insider program so will i get widows 11 public version because now i am using windows 11 insider program in dev channel .

Thank you for your video! A while back I've switched my sign-in from a Microsoft account to a local account. Now, regardless of switching back to a microsoft account, both 'choose your insider settings' and 'windows insider account' are entirely missing from the windows insider program settings. Do you know what to do? I'd love to switch to the beta channel and avoid doing a clean install. Any help would be much appreciated :)
