I Bought A PS Vita and Modded It In 2024...

After modding a PSP, it was only right I modded and finally tried out the successor, the PS Vita. Apologies this video took so long to come out. More to come.

Adrenaline comes with Save states/load states. tap the "PS" button while in a game and tap "Adrenaline settings" and when the screen pops up, tap the "R" button twice and u have HELLA slots to save and go back to if u die alot in a game and want to restart from a specific spot (or when playin Classic Mode on "tetris plus" for Ps1 like me). also u can change the screen size if on "Adrenaline settings" again and tapping "R" Three times and go down to "PS X axis" and "PS Y axis" and increase the size accordingly. you can also remap the buttons when on "Open Adrenaline official settings" on the first page

I just bought a nearly brand new vita 2000 (under 80 hours of use total, and very well maintained). This thing is awesome, I had never before even seen a vita up close, but I was always a huge fan of the PSP. The fact I can stream games from my PC to it with tolerable input lag is just unbelievable.

I been sayin this, I’ve seen a lot of people buying psps recently but I believe they’re getting it for aesthetic reasons. If you know about modding a vita then you might as well get that for a better experience. You get two thumbsticks and you get the whole psp library with the vita library.

The 1000 is a ton better. Hall effect sticks, oled screen. The oled screen pops and looks stunning even today, the LCD of the 2000 is such a massive downgrade it’s hard to overstate, I’ve used the 2000 several times and the lack of contrast and duller colors is a bummer because in other ways it is nice and I like the color options.
Battery life has never been an issue even with my original launch vita I still get 3-4 hours with most games. I overclock it for games like xcom which runs poorly without overclocking but keeps a pretty steady 30 with it cranked up, when I do this the battery life is quite short but for most games it’s honestly better than my switch.

I modded my launch Vita during the first covid lockdowns and its since then been among my most played devices.
So many good PSP racing games...

Also don't worry about overclocking. Vita components were deliberately underclocked to save on battery, so overclocking won't affect anything negatively other than your battery life.

I bought a modded PS Vita from Sumo. It amazes me that it never became the best selling handheld system of all time. It's absolutely astounding. Waay ahead of its time.
