Journey on Indian Railways: Relaxing Night Train Sounds Ep.1

Enjoy the sounds of a train as it makes its way through the darkness of the night, amidst a slight drizzle. Helps create an atmosphere of travel and nostalgia, for people who travel a lot. Train sounds are always rhythmic and have a certain melody that only people who travel a lot can discern quite well. Combine that with the ambient sounds and it makes for a relaxing soundscape. Listen and enjoy. :)

This was recorded on board the Vasco Yesvantpur Express, in Goa. Will come up with a longer version soon. No point in looping a short video over and over again just to increase the duration. The originality and dynamic nature of a journey is lost when such a method is employed.

Yup, those track sounds and rocking motion brings back lots of childhood memories. Nowadays, its mostly charmless, efficiently sealed air travel or ultra-refined modern coaches that isolate you from the world outside

Train journey is the best . Mostly night time .
Use headphones and close your eyes and tell someone to shake the table in which you are sitting. It gives very nice train feeling in the time of lockdown . But I am commenting after 3 month after viewing this vedio.

One of the most pleasant experience s of life.. You must have love for old traditional trains. And the age good enough to appreciate the music. Tragedy I have not travelled during the last ten years. I used to love non AC sleeper overnight journeys. Indian railways is one of the things I value, respect and love most in this world. It's been 3 years since I moved to the US and the one thing i regret and miss most is travelling on Indian railways overnight. Thanks so much for this video. It gave me an experience that can't be measured with money.

Sit on a chair, focus a table fan or cooler right on your face either left or right side, plug earphones in ears and listen to this. Yahoo !! Free train ride without train. Keep vibrating yourself a bit 😂
