Over the weekend a delayed game for the Switch strangely leaked out and activated for a person online. A surprising game announcement showed off a new Kingdom Hearts game that once again ties back to the Nvidia leak.

Leaks hitting Nintendo is a daily occurence by now.

Not mentioned here, but Sonic 2 has been over performing at the box office. It grossed $71 million domestically when originally predicted to make $50 million, making it the biggest opening of any video game movie ever. Glad to see it, since it was a lot of fun, and the team clearly put a lot of love into it!

Aren't they supposed to release 9 other kingdom hearts games for different platforms that are also important to the over all narrative before they make KH4?

The more Sega talks about the super game, the more sounds like a "Destiny" kind of game. A live service, online multiplayer game with a strong sense of online community. Probably with micro transactions included.

You know something, games are expensive. If I was the person that has the unlocked advanced wars, I would’ve been trying to complete the whole game ASAP before Nintendo takes the game and issues the refund, and then buy a whole new game. Gotta save money where I can

Gonna be honest, the second season for Halo sounds really underwhelming. Seems like far too little, far too late. They definitely weren’t ready for the live service model.

You shouldn't ever need to reconnect your Switch to the internet to play a digital purchase. It's different for the Switch Online stuff like NES, SNES, and N64, because it's tied to a subscription, but I'm pretty sure that's not necessary for anything else, (except online multiplayer stuff, obviously.) It would really be bad if when the Switch is EOL and the servers go down if you couldn't play any downloaded games anymore.

I'm always at a loss when people clamour for games to be remade or remastered, because like here with Crono Cross, companies today almost always make an absolute mess of them.

On the Switch, it runs EXACTLY how I remember it on the PS1. It's just upscaled and makes the characters and backgrounds look better. It's honestly what I was expecting. I just played the PS1 version a couple days before the release on an emulator. That said, I would not be against them improving the framerate, but it was fairly bad on the PS1 too.

I love the FF7R and how they handled it, but I think a FF9 remake would be better suited as a direct 1:1 remake.

How did people think Kingdom Hearts 4 was not a thing? After Star Wars 15 or whatever people should have noticed that Disney will never miss the opportunity to milk a franchise as much as possible.

Part of me can't help but feel that Kingdom Hearts 4's development is gonna go smoother and not come out as late as everyone is thinking. Unreal Engine 5 is backwards compatible with Unreal Engine 4 projects, and they have Kingdom Hearts 3 to build and expand upon now, instead of starting from scratch. I can see in the trailer a lot of Kingdom Hearts 3 being used, particularly in the gameplay itself. I could be wrong, but I don't think this will be as crazy of a wait

I think I'm done with RPGs now. I don't have the time to play a 40 hour long game, unless it's something I can really get into like Fire Emblem or Pokémon. RPGs are the worst games to have in your backlog too.
