You need 73 or so in FireRed and 65 or so in leafgreen to get enough money to buy enough coins in game corner for Scyther/Pinsir, Dratini and Porygon in one go.

This glitch is also actually unique to these remakes, as in the originals you only got one nugget and if you lost to him you couldn't fight him again.

Its crazy that i'm literally replaying the game and at this point lol. I thought this didnt work in the remake but i'm glad it does 😂

yeah but once you get to the sevii late game you can just vs seeker a couple of ladies for like $19-20k each

An easier (a little bit more time needed) way is to get vs seeker and use that to fight the trainers to the left of fuschia (the bird keepers) and just keep using the vs seeker

This is definitely good for the beginning of the game, after the elite 4 you can go to one of the new islands and fight 2 aroma ladies that give you close to 20, 000 if your pokemon has the amulet coin

Ok but the meowth exploit if far better and more fun. Just use meowth with the black glasses and spam pay day on all you battles. It even works in wild encounters so no restarting the game and honestly isn't as boring

Seems fine for early game but eventually the rich ladies on one of the island are much more profitable

Although yes it does work, you can't progress the game. you have to lose repeatedly to get your nuggets but the first time you beat him he's gone for the rest of the game play. You can unlimited money but you'd be trapped at the start of the game.
