The week my dad passed away my brother thought that we were being robbed because he heard someone throwing things around in the house. He got his bat to bop the intruder over the head, only to find that there were things thrown around in the bathroom scattered everywhere. That week we got a pastor to bless our home and we haven't had any more incidents since.

Has anyone explained to her what happened? Maybe she needs to be told that she died, and on which day and time.
The former husband also needs to put his foot down, and till the former wife that he is not going to tolerate the behavior she's been showing. And let her know that if she doesn't play nice, you will bring a priest to the house and perform an exorcism to make her leave.
