During this delivery, I picked up around $150 worth of expensive italian food from Pietro's Pizza in Rittenhouse Square Philly and delivered it a mile to then get paid $26.95!! #shorts #shortsvideo

Never accept a bad offer hoping for a bigger tip after delivery. There’s a reason they are called unicorns.

one time delivering pizzas i delivered about 5 minutes away from the place and it was one pizza and some breadsticks. she gave me a $100 bill and paid with card. she said she was a co owner to a new bar in the area and would like to see me there and i gave the lady a hug, but i had to break the news to her i was only 18 and offered to give her the tip back but she refused to take it back. thankfully the bar is doing well but i’m 23 now and have yet to visit it 😂

Used to doordash back in high school in my town in the bay area. Id only accept orders from the fine dining resturants down town. Consistently made $60-75/hr. Best order I had was a $22 plate of pasta and received a $50 tip.

Got an order delivering some toiletries and stuff to a small coffee shop 20 miles away and got tipped about $80, thats still my personal best

1000 deliveries during Covid three were over $20 and I remember them all. half don’t tip at all this was extremely rare circumstance for dd. I had one time they tipped $1 on $120meal that they put in a wrong address and then took 5 minutes to answer the door/phone. I think it was because it’s pizza you got a good tip. People always tip pizza guys but not the harder Doordash drivers.

For those new to DD, do not accept anything lower than $6.25/6.50. That’s the ceiling for hidden tips, anything lower than that is what you get

This rarely happens people. Most of the time a ton of orders pop up and they’re 3 dollars. They tipped 0 and doordash is paying you 3 dollars. “Oh but what if they’re going to tip cash” yeah I thought that too and after 10 orders at 3 dollars i realized they’re not going to tip cash. I’m not using my gas to drive 8 miles for 3 dollars after spending them time driving to the restaurant and waiting. Not worth it.
