I mean we didnt hate the graphic card only for price but also cause it wasn't a big jump from the 3060ti, I bet if they optimize the drivers for the 3060ti, they would probably give same fps.

The 4060ti is the real 4060 and it should have been much cheaper and the 4060 should have become the 4050

I bought a pre built with one in it and it’s been great. I’m happy. I thought about upgrading to a 4080 super but I’m not sure it’d be worth it

I personally have the 16GB version and it runs 1440p at high settings averaging 100FPS im pretty happy with it

I hate it because they downgraded the memory bus. Rx 7600 xt and 4060 ti 16gb variant both have great vram, but the memory bus is slow (128-bit) making you unable to utilize the vram efficiently.

Also, in a few cases, the 3060ti beats the 4060ti

7700xt is better everytime even with rtx on because of 192 bit bus and 12gb

The 4060 Ti gets outperformed by the 3060 Ti in some games when it comes to raw performance, which is totally unacceptable. The 3060 Ti is a midrange GPU that outperforms the 2080 Super, which was a high-end GPU for nearly half the price. That is what you call solid value and a proper generational upgrade. The 4060 Ti can't even match the 3070, though. This is why consumers are unhappy with current gen midrange GPUs. They are significantly more expensive than their last gen counterparts but are hardly any faster. Where is the value and point in that? Back when Nvidia's current gen 60 class GPU was either matching or outperforming the previous gen high-end GPU, not to be mistaken with the flagship GPU, they were selling extremely well. My point is that the midrange GPU from the latest generation would either match or outperform the previous gen high-end GPU. The 70 class GPUs used to offer previous gen flagship levels of performance at a much lower price. That's what a lot of consumers want back, and doing that will certainly help Nvidia's gaming segment grow by a considerable amount. This is a big reason why the 4060 Ti gets so much hate, and I think that's understandable.

if it was 250$ I would not recommend buying it I will instead get a rx 6750xt for 279 much more better and play any games at 1440p unlike rtx 4060ti get 40 fps in 1440p in games like cyberPunk and have fsrfg and fg in amd is 50% better also have afmf which can double the fPS and many more

Well It's still bad.
8Gb vram for 400€ Card is terrible value.
also this card have a low bandwith to price which make it not as good as it should be for higher resolutions.
pros are power consumption and
4000 series cards features.
also 7700xt is better and same or cheaper in price.
