Today we do a deep dive on the arguably most important song in Taylor Swift's career.
While you could argue many songs "made" her career or sustained it over time, this is the main one.

A video solely on Taylor Swift is NOT what I expected from Roomie but I'm fuckin' hyped.

That was fun to watch. If in future you react to another Taylor song, you also might want to compare the original to the re-recorded version.

I saw Taylor Swift on the title, and I immediately click. I haven't listened to this version ever since Fearless (Taylor's Version) came out, and this version really brings me back to the time where I had my first crush back in 4th grade.

02:33 - There is something uplifting watching people get excited about things that make them excited. This was a great moment!

Love hearing your perspective and seeing the information you and your editors find!

i feel like you can do a taylor's version of this song, and compare if the two songs have anything in common or different. I would love to see that!!

Love Story is a classic! Such a great song, and to think this changed her life and it only took 25 minutes to write. She's the best songwriter

I'm not really a TS stan so I never really appreciated this song until this breakdown. More of these please.

It would be cool to see Roomie make a video that takes songs that are no longer copyright protected like Singin' in the Rain and sing & produce them for a modern audience.

I loved this so much! This is definitely one of Taylor's older iconic songs! I enjoy hearing her more southern voice here as well! She was so wholesome back then too lol! Thank you Joel!💖

Man i miss country pop Taylor, especially when they played the radio rock remix of the instrumental before the bridge, what a time it was 🥰

this is still one of my favorite Taylor Swift songs to this day. i like All Too Well better, but considering how many albums she has released since Fearless i think its pretty impressive that this song has held up so well

I think quite a bit of people would have missed her deadpan humour in that reaction video, thank god you picked up on that. She is basically making fun of herself there and it's freakin hilarious. Also for songs like Shake it off and Blank Space she has grammy listening sessions where she talks about the creation and production process of the songs with some videos and voice memos. It's brilliant.

Oh I LOVE this! I was hoping for a more in depth Taylor video someday and watching Joel vibe to TS songs is all I need in life now xD love these analysis videos, always really interesting, and definitely second other people's comments about a folklore/evermore reaction, that'd be so cool to see!!
