Actually, I think she wrote Forever and Always in Fearless about Joe Jonas who THEN responded with Much Better, and then Better then Revenge was a response to his response. She even says in it "Come on, show me how much better you are". Considering Much Better came out before Better then Revenge it makes more sense too.
