UK PM Race News: Conservation party leader Rishi Sunak is set to be the UK’s first Indian-origin PM as Penny Mordaunt drops out of the race.

Penny Mordaunt took to Twitter to declare her decision.

Acting Prime Minister Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak will meet King Charles tomorrow at Buckingham Palace. Truss will formally tender her resignation.

Sunak is the 5th UK Prime Minister in six years.
