Nice, when making the adjustment, is you bike on the stand or lift jack, tyre off the ground

I did it exactly the same way, however it was too tight when off the stand. The 50mm should be the slack when it is taking it's own weight.

Great vid. I've got a thousand miles on mine and the chain seems a bit loose. I'll tighten it up tomorrow...looks like the chain is good for around 5-7K before it needs replacement.

Sight along the top of the chain, from the top of the rear sprocket, forward, and make sure the chain is in a nice, straight line.

I hope you can help me real quick. When the chain is where it is tight and where it is supposed to be at, is it supposed to look really loose? leaning on the kickstand.

Thanks, I've always had the cam style washer adjustment bikes, which I prefer GREATLY to this.🫤

Id think youd measure for the chain guide up?

you should use the caliper to measure the distance of wheel pin and block the chain ON rear sprocket, with wooden hammer handle when tighten the axle nuts (to keep the wheel from moving forward) sorry for my english

Took a photo.
Zoomed in.
Dang!
The guide is drawn in and they measure from the actual swing arm.
Ok!

The plate you are using to line up the marks on both sides completely wobbles around loosely while you are lining this up. It’s not any kind of indicator as to the alignment because the plate with the notches in it that you are lining up with the dot is NOT in a fixed position.
My last bike, a Yamaha had all this figured out. This is a complete grope in the dark. 😂
