Ashley Furniture and Acceptance Now Rip Off Report

Last year Ashley Furniture Rip Off me and my wife off. They made us think we were paying them directly every month when in reality they passed us over to Acceptance now. I didn’t realize this till my my first bill the following month after receiving a call from an acceptance now rep saying we will Nolonger’ be paying Ashley furniture but we will start paying them. I called Ashley to find out if this was true and they say yes it’s true. Now after paying almost a year Acceptance now says their police is, you have to pay the furniture off in the first 90 days to keep the original price if $1,400 each sofa. I had no knowledge of this and now they’ve double both my wife’s $1,400 bill and my $1,400 bill to a whopping $3000 for each sofa SMDH…

I used to work for Acceptance Now at an Ashley's furniture. The company treats the emplyoees as bad as it treats its customers. My boss stopped giving me hours in order to get me to quit so he could fire me because he had a new star manager and wanted to give her a "better" assistant but didn't have room at my store for a new sales assistant and didn't have anynwhere else he could move me. By the end of my time there, I tried to talk customers out of getting furniture with us and told them all the different ways we would screw with them and harrass them and ruin their credit and if they still said yes my conscience was clear

Does anyone know where Acceptance Now is currently doing business in Ohio? Who owns Acceptance Now? Any names or telephone number for complaints? Any group going against them? HELP!!!

Years later and we still having problems with this company…… I’m literally going through this now and wish I knew how much of a scam they are. And their sales rep purposely misled you as if they want you to be in debt . I was told I couldn’t make payments on my couch . They also messed up on their end by sending me the wrong couch the first time around which caused them to have to terminate my contract. They specifically kept telling me oh the time you have left on this contract will be added to a new contract and that they couldn’t take the remaining time I had left on the first contract because it was their fuck up . Fast forward to my pay out I went to pay off my couch in full and when I got there they told me I was 10 days past my 120 days and told me that the manager that was over my purchase wasn’t no longer with them . I was told my payments for my new account couldn’t be renewed. As in they couldn’t set up my payments to be dated so they could be paid . So now here I am with a new contract that I’m told my 120 days don’t start until my other 120 days end from the last contract. Mind you I was getting notifications and text messages for reminders of my due dates for the first contract, I wanted the same for the second contract cause I never pay bills with out them sending me reminders. I’ve called value city furniture 2 weeks and they told me my pay out and I said ok . They mentioned nothing about my contract ending on June 18, Entire time I’m thinking the contract ends in July because the sales rep said the second contract wouldn’t start until after March 18, (. That’s why she couldn’t renew my payments for my second contract because of the days left on the first contract). So I was lied to, mislead, and the way she set it up was in a way for me to not pay the entire time of me having an extra 120 days . So it wouldn’t make a difference if I got extra days or less because no payments was scheduled to come out . So I was sitting at the same spot( debt wise ) what I owe vs if I had payments scheduled out . My pay out was 950 of payments would have continued my pay out will be like 70 dollars , but she said she couldn’t renew my payments. So now I’m pass the 120 days that wasn’t verbally agreed upon and I owe 1700
