He didn't escape aging he's just healthier.

I don't think he looks younger. He looks thin but not with the smooth skin a younger person has. He looks like a middle aged man who has recently taken up Iron Man.

Even if you think he looks better after his protocol, I think we can all agree that one would expect drastically better visual returns on a 2M annual investment.

Even though what he’s doing seems extreme, I’m grateful that he’s trying because something good may come out of it for all of us.

1:20 I disagree he looks in shape now, but his skin and hair looked better when he was in his late 30's. I think this is due to his vegan diet.

That diet looks so plain, unsatisfying and lacking protein that I'd rather live ten years less and enjoy my meals especially if they're thrice a day and I'm rich enough to have and eat whatever filling and tasty animal fats, eggs, fish, meat and dairy that I want

You know what the better for not overeating then stuffing yourself of a bunch of low-calorie crap eating high quality nutrient dense food particularly animal foods that actually satisfy you and give you a nutrition that your body can actually absorb

Good video. That being said, the longevity benefit of physical exercise does not work well with calorie restriction. The company Glycanage has the following written on one of its blog pages: "High intensity training when combined with caloric restriction depletes the natural capacity of our immune system. It has a negative impact on most indexes.". High Intensity Interval Training is one of the healthiest forms of physical exercise which you cannot neglect.

The crashing testosterone is a dealbreaker on this protocol. I suspect it is caused by the vegan nature of it. Rework it for a keto/carnivore based diet and I think you will see much better results. Include a fasting routine, as that is also a part of the human experience that our history has primed us for.
Edit: looking a little more closely at the before and after I see that he has developed gynomastia and a receding hairline typical of someone having their hormones screwed with. I honestly wouldn't be surprised to find that this protocol actually significantly SHORTENS his life.

What you said at the start is crucial; he is healthier than 99% of those 45 years old and probably even most 25-35ys also. Most people his age are already ill with chronic illnesses, etc. With 60+, it's quite horrible. And with all of these contemporary disorders, it quickly goes downhill from there. Thus, he is proving that what we perceive to be "normal" is actually not typical at all. He is plainly demonstrating to us that the "normal" is not normal, that you should be healthy or fit almost to the point of death. Not shitting in your pans and have a miserable life the last 20 years of your life. Even if he is not reversing anything (which I don't believe, because we are able to stick with aging to a normal range in glutathione, testosterone, etc. which is huge imo). this is still important.

I know a lot of people who are over 35 and have already developed serious health problems. They only take medications to delay the onset of these ailments and make statements like "you don't get any younger, " which is complete nonsense. If you are unwell between the ages of 35 and 45, YOU most likely messed up something, not your genetics or anything else. However, it is the last thing anyone wants to hear. And this is also a huge part Bryan Johnsen is pushing, the bad behavier we all support us in has to stop. But somehow nobody talks about that, is more fun to attack him i guess.

It's just funny because aesthetically he looks like he's aged 10 years since the before footage. The obvious hair dye and douchy hairstyle aren't helping.

The most powerful antioxidant and something that will relieve a lot of stress in your body is cholesterol

He genuinely looks older, not younger. He also looks like he's transitioning - and the only reason i mention that is i wonder if he's taking estrogen etc and what affect that would have on these clocks.

I think his single subject research is great —results will provide the map to the ballpark of what works for him not necessarily the seat —but that is still valuable !

How come "age reversal" happens only on inside, according to some questionable tests ? On outside all these biohackers never look younger.

Also, metformin for non diabetic people is proven to be quite harmful.

It is clear to see this is not a balanced approach and could possibility backfire in the long term. But it is okay if he want to experiment with himself.

My 50 year old husband went to the dentist yesterday, and she couldn't believe he was 50. She said you can't be more than 35. He looks young and can run a mile in 5 minutes.

AMAZING VIDEO!!! I'm 66, most estimate my age between 46-55! Gym, 5 days a week, I.F., 6 days a week, OMAD twice a week, Keto mon-friday. Metobolic confusion works great. Lost 60 lbs 8 years ago with strict KETO. Sleep 1030m-630pm daily. Testosterone between 600-700's ALL NATURAL...NO TRT, NO HRT...and yes, "it" still works GREAT lol

the way I see the mTOR debate on mortality seems more like a right place right time effect, if you're perpetually expressing mTOR, then you'll always have opportunities for cancer expression, if you fast and have times when you're not expressing mTOR your body cleans up the most suspect cells that are potentially cancerous

In my opinion, one of the "unnecessary parts" is being 80% plant based. Then again, with all the testing he's done maybe that actually works for his own personal genetics and biochemistry. I just think plant based is a lot of hype and a huge money grab by the powers that be. I've had in depth genetic profiling and bloodwork done recently. Personally, my diet is 80% animal based and 20% plants and my most recent biomarkers we're near optimal except for testosterone, magnesium, DHEA and pregnanolone, plus even at 120-160 grams of high quality animal protein my protein was still low. I'm now on TRT and supplementing to bring the other markers into balance.
