I actually ran into Den of Tools at a Harbor Freight. I asked for his autograph, and he
promptly put me in a headlock and brutally
delivered blow after blow perfectly to the
center of my face. This continued for a
total of 1 minute and 57 seconds, after
which he released me, where I was rushed
to the hospital. I just got out and have fully
recovered from the physical and mental
trauma. Keep up the great work Den of Tools!

The chipper shredder is strait garbo. Do not even think about putting anything larger than 1- 1.5" limbs in it over 4 foot long. Anything that is larger than 4ft with a 1.5" diameter is too much for it to handle and constantly bogs down. I tinkered with my for 29 days until I finally got fed up with it and returned it. Sharpened the blades etc like several guides recommended. If something gets jammed in the machine which happens often, there's no quick access door to get to in it to unclog like other brand and models. You've got to break the machine down with removing the numerous 8-12bolts. Mind you, the limbs and branches I was putting through was pine so It's not like I was asking it to cut down maple. Theres no way this thing could handle hard wood. The 3" capacity is not for 3" around limbs, its to allow for a normal 1" limb with a bend or knot to pass through. Anything larger than 1" is basically a no go. "Y" In branches dont run well either. You have to cut them all down and cut the ""Y" out of the two sides b/c the chute wont take more than 3" item. Mother natures limbs don't adhere to the less than 3" bend in branches rule and I found this machine to be one of the largest pita items I've ever bought for HF

I love HF and most of my shop is HF tools etc but this one is a hard pass. I hope this helps to prevent a hassle for someone.

Picked up the Predator 2000 watt inverter generator this morning for $480. This will be used primarily for emergency power. I plan to combine it with my Ecoflow Delta 2 Max battery. Since our power outages tend to occur in the winter, have a gas generator to charge the battery makes more sense then getting a solar panel. Tomorrow, I'll pick up the 42" roll cabinet in slate grey and I'll open the credit card so I can get 30% off.

I've had the Predator chipper for 3 years. Starts easier than I expected, though I do run the carburetor dry at the end of each job and have been feeding it non ethanol gas.

My store's manager looked out for me on the Yukon box and Hercules deal. Got the free drill and the 20% off the box. No conversation needed. I had bought the box and was leaving the store, she came out and said to wait because I was supposed to get the drill as well. Maybe she was doing it for everyone or maybe she just recognized me from always being in there. Either way, I told I appreciate it and that's why that is the only HF store I go in.

My buddy already broke the Icon balljoint press, took 3 jobs and snapped the clamp in half pressing one on an F350. This is after him having to request the manual that didn’t come in the box and a missing piece. Best part is he got a sizable discount on his BJP1 from Snappy truck to give him the broken tool so he can mount it as a trophy

I sold my Snap On box and I'm working on putting together a box out of the US General yes, in the correct color. So far have 2 42"s bolted on either side of a 27". Today I went in and used my 20% off on one of the 42" top boxes I need. Tomorrow I'm grabbing the 27" top box.

I have the chipper shredder. It works great for smaller stuff, but limbs over 2 1/2" will stall it out.

I need to get myself a set of Pittsburgh swivel impact sockets, SAE and metric.. (Swivel adapter won't do.) Now maybe the time. I'll have to see if joining the club, will be worth it this weekend. Lol

I have the Hitachi 12 RSH sliding compound miter saw, with the DeWalt collapsible stand. It's kind of unwieldy to be honest. I wouldn't mind getting rid of that and getting the 10-in battery operated saw. I'm not always a fan of battery saws, but sometimes it's just convenient.

So inside track is $30 a year. Someone made a comment that some stores are allowing 2 years for $45 still at this point. So I went to mine tonight, and I got 2 years for 45 bucks. By the time this long weekend is over, it will have paid for itself. From then on end, it'll be gravy or till it expires in 2 years.
