What Is A Unicast, Multicast, Broadcast, or Anycast?

What is a unicast, multicast, broadcast, or anycast type of network transmission, and what are they used for? This is an important topic to understand for the CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ certifications as well as the Cisco CCENT / CCNA. In this video, I talk about the differences between these types of network activity and give some examples of what they are used for.

So the summary is-

Uni-cast = One to One communication,
Multi-cast = One to Many / Multiple communication,
Broad-cast = One to All
Any-cast = One to Nearest / next / closest communication.
and Broad-cast is IPv4 specific, while Any-cast is IPv6 specific.

I would appreciate to know if gaming PC's need more that unicast. So should I allow Unicast response to multicast and so on? Its all on by default but I do not think I need it because i cant think of a program that uses it them. Thanks in advance. But I have been wrong once before. Thanks in advance
