I've read the Bible, Quran and I've been reading about the Annuaki, ancient civilizations more the past 7 months. I'm 39. I'm very knew to it. But it has more answers then questions so it makes more sense. I definitely believe in a creator for a few reasons and I believe Billy's teachings.

I’m not religious, but when you explain that Jesus might’ve just been a spiritual person looking for inner peace and to get closer to our universe, it makes him sound much more realistic and believable. He sounds like a man who didn’t claim to be Jesus/God, but was so highly looked at because of his energy he put off. A man who was on a mission to travel and learn.

There is an Apocryphal book called Sirach, aka the Wisdom of Ben Sira, aka Ecclesiasticus that tells the story of a "Jesus" or Yeshua who lived about 50 years before Jesus son of Mary and Joseph. The Jesus/Yeshua from that book was also a holy teacher who was persecuted. Oddly enough, he was sentenced to death, but when he called out for the Lord to not forsake him, he was not killed, and he praised the Lord for saving him in his hour of need. Mr. Carson never speaks about this Jesus/Yeshua... I have deduced that this book was left out of the Bible bc of the confusion it would cause, but I also think it is possible that it may have been the same person. This isn't the first time I have commented about this, either Mr. Carson deleted my comment or ignored it. I believe the Yeshua who lived in that house that the church was built around may have been the one in Sirach. It is at least worth looking into. Let's not forget that Judaism was actively seeking a saviour/messiah during this time, and there were several such as The Teacher of Righteousness and John the Baptist who came along pre-Jesus (of Nazareth). Whether or not the Historical Jesus was a flesh and blood man may be irrelevant if what needed to survive was His Teachings anyway. This line of thinking falls in with the Christ Consciousness idea that Billy and others speak about. We can talk about how the prophets foretold Jesus' life, and how Jewish authorities may have fudged it to fit into the line of David as promised, and how Jesus was not really of the bloodline of his father, Joseph, who descended from David. We can talk all day about all of that, but in the end, I feel like what matters is what really survived all of this - The Teachings of Jesus. In the beginning there was the Word, and the Word was good. However it came to be, this is what has survived all scrutiny, and that is good. Christians fear new age spirituality and those who question the authenticity of the King James version, but why? Because they fear that their religion is being threatened. They need not fear this, because after reading all of the stuff from all of the religions, the Sumerian Tablets, all of it, in the end it comes down to this - the Teachings of Jesus still come out on top, no matter where they came from. John 3:16 says you must believe in Him, but John was the last Gospel written, and the one that diverges most from Mark or Q or Source. The Word is what matters, like the Sermon on the Mount and the rest of the Beatitudes.

I’m not a Christian anymore, but I still like to read the Bible. I know the current edition of the Bible left out a few books. If what you say is true, that Jesus was going to these different regions to learn about other philosophies and cultures, then Christians have some explaining to do 🤯

The Old Testament, specifically exodus, teaches that Egypt was wicked because of its “idolatrous” ways. It emphasized a lack “god’s presence” in the region. Indian practices are also seen as idolatrous and sinful according to modern day Christian teachings. Spiritual practices are categorized as “New Age” religions (even though these “new age” practices are older than Christianity). So the question is: tf was Jesus doing learning all that😅

I have a theory that Christianity has become a very bad game of telephone. For example, if you ask a die hard Christian about astrology or any “new age” practices, they’ll tell you it’s sinful in nature. When you ask them why, some will say it’s just what they’ve been told. Others will bring up verses from the bible( still not real evidence imo but sometimes you just gotta meet people where they’re at) but when I read them, I get a completely different interpretation. When read through a certain lens, the Bible has a lot of esoteric knowledge. Perhaps that’s what I see.

Interesting enough, I still haven’t seen any verses in the Bible that goes against these “new age” practices which is why I believe what you are saying is true, Billy! Thank you for sharing
