I’m so confused too, especially when so many of them say they don’t need to conform to gender norms to be considered a specific gender and gender norms- masculine and feminine clothing, hair, body, voice - is just a societal construct therefore shouldn’t be followed, but then why do trans individuals spend all this time and money to try look like the opposite gender to which they were born ?! wearing certain clothing, changing their hair and bodies with operations etc. I’m so confuuussseeeddd
