The Cult of Gender Ideology

Over the past few years, there’s been a radical shift in the way people talk about sex and gender in America. All of a sudden, it seems like nobody can agree on basic questions like “what is a woman?”, “what’s the difference between sex and gender?” and “are these categories even real or meaningful?” But where did the new gender ideology come from, and why is it suddenly cropping up in schools across America? How can we protect our children from being exposed to age-inappropriate material without our knowledge, or indoctrinated into a cult of gender ideology? Free the People creative director Sam Martin sat down with Leor Sapir, a fellow at the Manhattan Institute who wrote his Ph.D. on how government regulations have affected the introduction and prevalence of gender ideology into schools, to get to the bottom of this thorny and controversial issue.

I struggle with the rationale behind gender ideology: if there is no innate nature-derived SEX then why do trans people feel that it is necessary to undergo hormone replacement therapy? If sex is culturally constructed, then why does one need to alter one’s organic hormonal constitution to express as the other gender??

My Dog was chemically castrated. That’s the same process kids undergo when they get “puberty blockers”. After one year the effect of the castration was almost gone, but the dog hade huge side effects. He got aggressive, tired, he got more fat, and he hade all the time a erection. Things are particularly bad in Washington state. Schools here can transition kids without parental involvement and if your (minor) child runs away from home for a sex change (or an abortion) the government is exempt from informing you in the timely manner that’s required if your child runs away for other reasons.
