The U.S. Naval Academy first accepted women in the class of 1980. Extracurricular activities, such as Joy Bright Hancock Organization (JBHO) and the Naval Academy Women's Network, focus on continuing the discussion on deconstructing gender norms.

This is my first shot at an "inspirational" video. Let me know what you think in the comments below!

We really do not need people to discourage us, we do a fine job ourselves. When we change our mind positively about ourselves and our dreams we feel like overcomers. Success is in the person, not in others opinion of us.

Thank you for your very own reliable experience, motivation with schooling to assist my mission to turning out to be more consciously cognizant and also spiritually connected.

This is so inspirational. My dream has always been to achieve the acceptance to the Naval Academy ever since I was in the second grade, almost everyday I come up against human beings that tell me that it's not worth it, women don't go to the Academy and all I can say is that it's a dream and I'm willing to fight for. Empower woman, by giving men the woman of the year award. And making it so anyone can call themself a woman. Seems almost like we’ve gone backwards.

can you just woman up. there is man out there living with a penny a day collecting garbage and living on the street. no one in the world acknowledges the pain that man had to endure but the woman they just had to felt special don't they. I would say 70 to 80% of man see woman are powerful people. why you have to go all out, promoting yourself like ads.
