I finally got the chance to change out the throw off on my Copperphonic to the new Ludwig Drums P-88 throw off and the P-35 butt plate that I snagged at Dale's Drum Shop

After playing around with it I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has a 5” or 6.5” depth Ludwig that needs a new throw off to replace a p-85 or p-86 throw off.

It’s phenomenally built, very smooth and hold its tension so much better then it’s previous ancestors!

This head is definitely becoming one of my favorite drum heads along with the Ambassador X & Controlled Sound X .

Lastly, I am experimenting again with Vic Firth 1A drum sticks. Really love the length I get with them and how they feel right in between a 5B and 2B.
