Truly beautiful. The food, people, & culture are amazing. More than that, it's how generous & kind are some of these chongqing people when hosting Caucasians. I just dont understand why with such generosity, we still have to make these people as our next enemy. What gives?

I'm in Chengdu, downstairs we can find hotpot restaurant, but I'm sick, throat has a lot of pain, the video made me wanna go downstairs to order a table of hotpot... Being a chengduer, I prefer eating Chongqing Hotpot... Chengdu and Chongqing Hotpot are both good though.

1:50 when she's explaining about the grid in the hot pot, I'm thinking that when you have an "open" hot pot, stuff gets away from you sometimes and your clever friends will eat your stuff if they can! Maybe it's just MY friends. Anyway, looks amazing, hard to imagine a KETTLE full of hot oil to cook in, if that's what we're seeing here? I make different kinds of hot pot, but they're always based on broth of some kind, or occasionally just water. This is another level!
