Great GPU for emulation! I run one in a 32" arcade cabinet. I have every console rendering at 1080P. I paid too much ($100) for it during the shortage but I've since gotten my money's worth. I love emulating Switch games in docked mode. I didn't know it was capable of that for the first 6 months I owned it.

Use Also use fbo vulkan vsync and set internal display resolution on Xenia canary config to 0. I get 50-60 fps sonic unleashed with this on 1355u

as a person who uses this GPU since february of 2017 when i got my first true gaming PC, I think the GTX 1050 is bad and also good for what it can do. Can it run AAA games after like 2019? nope, don't count on it. BUT... It's actually holding really well with emulation at least! I played a LOT of emulated games on this GPU: be it Persona games, Shin Megami Tensei games, DMC series, Metal Gear and a lot more. I think when it comes to Switch emulation that's where things get interesting to be honest... I actually played on Yuzu at first but when i heard about ryujinx i tested it out and... well? Many games run a lot better on it actually... I struggled to even open Shin Megami Tensei V on Yuzu... but Ryujinx? easy peasy 1080p 60 FPS with even few mods installed. I only use Yuzu for TOTK right now since it's better for TOTK but i struggle a lot (a lot of lag when trying to switch from menus like attaching things to an arrow or using abilities or just going to menu and also a LOT of crashes and weird things like crashing every time trying to go from depths to surface through teleportation...) but most likely it's because i only still have 8gb of RAM, but i will upgrade next week to 2x8GB with 3600MHz instead of 8GB with 2400MHz. I have had this GPU for a while now and can emulate rpcs3 with no problems. It's weird that you had crashes when you tested GoW3 because I ran the game with no issues, achieving 60 fps most of the time. "I've also tested Zelda Totk, and in the first area I got about 50 to 60 fps on average. although, to be clear i've upgraded my CPU to the Ryzen 5 7600. With my older CPU, theres no way my results would be even close.

Emulation is not a gpu thing so this video doesn't make the least of sense...
Actually you would get the exact same results with a RTX 4090...

In my experience most emulators are cpu bound, about 70% cpu, 30% gpu.

Looks like the GPU isn't doing that much when emulating and the main part that affects performance is the CPU

Rpcs3 test isnt valid since its like 70% cpu dependent and u have an i5 10th gen thats a very excellent cpu with alot of cores

I have a laptop with 16gb ddr4, 1050 4gb (non ti, it is a normal 1050 but with 4gb) and a i5 8300h.

Do you think it is good enough to emulate without problems? I think it can pull off up to switch pretty good but What about ps3?, could it pull off emulating at native ps3 resolution or does it need to be 720p for more chances to do it?
