Ram Dass' book "Be Here Now" is the epitome of dealing with fear. Amazing. His entire journey began there!

Fear is not a thing . Its only reality is what we give it, which should be no thing ; fear is a beast of the imagination, and unreality - its expensive to maintain .
I have no fear, not even of death of this faithfull vessel, fór it woúld have exceeded in its job and theres always another vessel to be born and worn with joy .

Now let me give you REAL advice that actually WORKS: focus on 'manageable' while doing 'attitude' or 'cut thru' breathing (heartmath). Your biggest fears can calm massively such as medical fears. There are other keywords/concepts you can focus on. In the case of social anxiety, you may want to try a range of keywords/concepts such as 'proud of myself', 'i am worthy' - after a few minutes it kind of sinks into your cells if you hit the right keywords.

You first have to know what the problem is to solve it
