She approached facial plastic surgeon Dr. Edwin Williams because she was primarily bothered by her sagging jawline and jowls. Her neck didn't bother her as she is on the younger side, but she explained that the heaviness in the lower part of her face made her look older.

This patient chose a weekend facelift because she wanted a procedure that could be done under local anesthesia. The weekend facelift was innovated by Dr. Williams, and it addresses the jawline as well as corrects any sagging or wrinkles on the face.

Ladies, it is not a quick recovery.It’s extremely hard both physically and emotionally. Be prepared for at least a couple of months.Depression comes with it. It is by no means an easy process.

Thank you for posting this. I get this done next month. The only thing that it different is I went to 4 consultations and each one said to not use ice. The skin is too thin and it could do more harm then good 🙌

I had it done and it was very painful I don’t get why everyone makes it seem like a walk in the park hurt so much swollen tight stitches poking u uhhh I know I’ll look great I can see it so yes it’s worth it .. Beauty is pain!

I don’t understand how every video I watch people recuperate so quickly. I am three weeks post op and I still have bruising under my eyes, behind my ears is so tight it feels terrible. I mean I look great. He did a great job but I cannot stand this feeling. I am swollen, the side of my face is numb and tight.

I had mine done today. No pain yet. I was told not to use ibuprofen. I'm taking arnica pills and hoping they will speed up bruising recovery. Thank you for posting

I was surprised to hear you’re taking so much ibuprofen directly after surgery, I was told it causes bruising & bleeding and thus to use only Tylenol. 🤔
